Long before neuroscience gave us words like co-regulation, these songs helped organize little nervous systems through rhythm, movement, repetition, and loving connection. They have become part of how children learn to feel safe, connected, and at home in the world.
Here in the Babue Village, we'll sing together. We'll learn the stories behind songs like Ehuhuwe, Dhigidhi, Amira Mira, and Dhee Dhee Dhee. We'll discover when they are sung, why they are sung, and the wisdom they carry from one generation to the next.
